This setup takes scrap, sorts output & comes w/ jam prevention. It can be used for a logistic bot, a bus setup or a mix of both - your choice.
To change how senstive the overflow protection is, simply change the value of the decider combinator located near the lights/scrap intake.

Feed scrap from where the lights are located. It will travel through the recyclers, which then push the output to the sorters. then cycles back. Overflow feeds into backup recyclers.
Circuit on the scrap intake has a latch that stops the flow if the overflow recyclers reach a certain threshold to prevent jamming.
